Sandra K. "Kozinetz" Jeffcott

Sandra K. Jeffcott, 82, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday March 12, 2026 while at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells inlet, South Carolina. She was born on April 25, 1943 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to the late Michael Gregory Kozinetz & Bertha Mary Romaniak.

Along with her parents, Sandy is reunited in passing with her grandmother, Helen Romaniak "Baci"; her aunts, Irene (John) Wesolowski, Jane (Jerry) Beaudry, Kay (Frank) Meehan & Irene (Wendel) Gibson; uncle, Andrew (Monica) Kozinetz.

Sandy was a bright woman with a sparkling and fiery personality! She was a beacon of love an acceptance to her family and friends. Her drive for guiding and teaching brought her to become a skilled and dedicated substitute teacher for Horry County Schools. Always one to stay busy, Sandy was also the sales promotion manager for Belk Dept. Stores, worked for Piggly Wiggly for many years and was a staff member of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, Sandy was an avid reader, loved gardening, crossword puzzles and enjoyed arts and crafts- especially painting and drawing. Sandy enjoyed the peace and quiet with a good cup of coffee on her back porch. Above all else, Sandy loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Sandy's memory are her adoring daughters, Traci A. Duncan of Myrtle Beach and Kimberly A. Cook of Murrells Inlet; adoring grandchildren, Hayley (Alan) Kerr, Bodi (Mary Katherine) Duncan, Zachary Cook, Tiara (Ryan) Duncan & Erin Vincent; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Paxton, Ryan Lily & Kane; brother, Michael G. Kozinetz and his wife, Michelle of Murrells Inlet; sister, Michelene Ferguson and husband, Peter of Geelong, Australia; as well as an army of nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Life for Sandy will be held and the details will be announced when finalized.
