Alice M. Frylinck

Alice Frylinck (née Vreeland), 75, of River Edge, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Alice is survived by her husband George; her children, Matthew and his wife Kerianne, Timothy and his wife Annie, and Jessica; her grandchildren Audrey, Brandon, Archer, and Odette; her sister Judith Vreeland and her wife Heidi Lyne; and her sister-in-law Elaine Rydlewski.
The world is a much warmer and kinder place because Alice was here. She was an amazing wife, a devoted mother, an overprotective big sister, and the quintessential Grammy. Family and friends were always her highest priority. Nothing brought her more joy than to be among them and share their experiences. Her quick wit, humor, and ability to tell an entertaining story put people at ease. Alice made all those who she touched feel special. She was one of the nicest, most compassionate and sincere people. Underlying that kindness was a fierce champion for her children and advocate for all.
Although we will deeply miss her, the many wonderful memories of her will bring a smile to our faces and the strength to move on.
Family and friends are invited for visiting on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 4-8PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell, NJ 07649. Interment on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:15AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
