Marie leaves behind her daughter, Donna Marie, and son-in-law, John Cucci Sr.; cherished grandchildren John Cucci, Jr. and wife Cynthia; Christen Montgomery and her husband Christian and Joseph Cucci; and adored great-grandchildren Ella, Cole, Lucas, Briana and Beau.
She was one of four children born to John and Rosario Puleo, and is the last surviving of her siblings Peter, Leonard and John.
Marie was married to Joseph Braun, beloved and doting husband, for 66 years prior to his passing May 9, 2020.
Marie was adored by her family. How remarkable that she had a relationship with her 5 great grandchildren?! They were always excited to see "Nana" and share a story or their snack with her. She was up for anything (spicy food included), always concerned for the well being of others regardless of her personal hardships and undisputedly happiest when around her family. She was an example of resilience and generosity for all. Marie has left us, but could never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations can be made to the Retinitis Pigmentosa Foundation or The Seeing Eye.
