Alice B. Kingston

SALEM- Mrs. Alice B. (Mello) Kingston, 91, of Salem, beloved wife of the late John T. Kingston, died Friday, October 9th, 2015 at Grosvenor Park Nursing Center in Salem, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Mello. She was raised and educated in Peabody. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, Alice considered this to be her greatest legacy. Her role as wife and mother was her greatest accomplishment and her true passion in life. She enjoyed every milestone, every accomplishment and took great joy in being a part of her family's lives. She will be deeply missed. An avid bingo player, she could be found every Tuesday, ready for a good game. She enjoyed shopping but her greatest joy were her grandchildren. Alice is survived by her son John Kingston of Hemmet, CA, her two daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Caron and her husband Donald of Danvers and Theresa Kingston of Peabody, her ten grandchildren, her eighteen great-grandchildren,her two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Joseph Kingston. ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62) Danvers, on Sunday, October 18th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M.. Interment will be held at a later date.
