Alice Paugh, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. Alice was born on March 5, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to Harry and Nellie Mae (Reynolds) Young.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Eric and grandson Joshua.
She is survived by daughter, Janet (Daniel) Axt; sons: Timothy (Sally) Paugh and Randall Paugh; grandkids: Leon, Rachel, Tyler, Kyle, Ryan, Gillian, Jamie, David, and Lindsay (Mark); great-grandkids: Carmen, Brylee, Landon, Paxton, Nolan, Noah, Brooklyn, Jennifer, Jewelz, Cooper.
Alice had a great love for her children, grandchild, and great-grand children. She was part of the first graduating class of Linden McKinley High School. She spent her entire life fighting cancer, working as an executive director at the Columbus Cancer Clinic. She spent 72 years with Phi Beta Psi sorority to raise money for Cancer research and patient support.
Family will receive friends on February 1st, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on February 1st, at 2:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Columbus Cancer Clinic or Phi Beta Psi Sorority in Alice's honor.
