Alice Mae Peak, 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on June 3rd, 2025, in Georgetown, Kentucky. Alice was born on January 10th, 1938, in Frankfort, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Cecil Wright Wilburn. She enjoyed going to yard sales, sewing, fishing, listening to music, gardening, cooking, and most of all taking care of her family. She loved going to Kmart, the Gambling Boat, and the Bingo Hall. Alice will be missed dearly and remembered as a devoted, strong-willed, witty, and loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, granny, nanny, and grandma. Besides her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Peak, three brothers, and eight sisters: George Raymond Wilburn, Gene Wilburn, William Lee Wilburn, Lucille Hager, Eula Wright, Ruby Peak, Millie Foley, Mary Joe Williams, Norita Smith, and Claire Padgett. She is survived by her brother Bobby Gene Wilburn. Alice will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jeffrey Lee Peak (Vontella), Onie William Peak, and daughter, Michelle Ann Peak (Anthony Gill). Her six grandchildren: Wesley (Drea), Holly, Chassity (Anthony), Gabrielle, Mackenzie (Devin), and Marley. And her eight great-grandchildren: Cameron, Nathan, McKayla, Matthew, Jake, Ethan, Eli, and Jaxon. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7th, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Tucker, Yocum, Wilson Funeral Home located at 304 W. Main Street, Georgetown, Kentucky, 40324, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with TJ Thorn officiating. The burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery with Anthony Gill, Devin Whitlock, Anthony Dodson, Nathan Dodson, Brian Thorn, and Wesley Peak serving as pallbearers. Cameron Peak, Bobby Gene Wilburn, Donald Gene Wilburn, Matthew Bell, and Jeff Peters will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Devin Fightmaster, Ashley Barbour, and Carla Caudill for taking such great care of Alice.
