She worked 30 years for The Marion Co. School system.15 years at Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary and 15 years at Shady Hill Elementary in Ocala.
She met her husband, David O. "Buckshot" Ranger Jr. and they married in 1960. They had 2 sons, David and Michael, 3 granddaughters, Rebecca, Dawn, and Allison.
After retirement she worked part-time at Learning Wheel Education Store with her good friends from Shady Hill Elementary.
Services will be held at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg, FL.
