Alice Faye Ray was born in Firebaugh, CA on April 7,1950 to Alvie and Jaunita
McIntosh. She passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024 in Lemoore, Ca with
her daughter by her side at the age of 74.
Alice was survived by her son Daniel Correia Jr. of Sacramento, and daughter
Kimberly (Rodney) Zandt of Lemoore, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Her sister Ethel (Sam) Brown of Visalia, CA her brother John (Shannon) of Riverdale,
CA and sister Dianna (Odie) Summers of Lakeview, AR.
Alice grew up and lived in Riverdale, California where she worked for the Riverdale
Food Center for over 35 years, and the Riverdale House for 20 years. Alice was
known and loved by many people in the community due to her time working in the
grocery store or the restaurant. She would do anything to help you whether she had
it or not. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything.
She was known to everyone as "Grandma Allie" or "Aunt Allie". She got to spend
the last three years with her 4 great grandchildren and was reminded every day
when Teddy and Nate were together with her what it was like to have twins in her
life again. Alice was known and loved by many people in the community.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Michael (Mike) Ray, her son Jason
Correia, her parents Alvie McIntosh, Gilbert (Pineapple) and Jaunita McIntosh
Teixeira, her brothers Verl McIntosh and Robert McIntosh, and sister Donna McIntosh
Tanner.
A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery,19811 S. Cedar Avenue,
Laton, CA 93242 on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
A Reception will follow at the United Methodist Church Riverdale, 20721 Malsbary
Riverdale, CA 93656.
