Alice Rebecca Gardner Obituary
McBee, S.C.
We are saddened to announce the passing of Alice Rebecca Boykin Gardner on January 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at Steven Gardner's residence, at 439 Lucknow Road, Bishopville, S.C.
Alice was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Liston and Ida Mae Rogers Boykin. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Charles Edward Gardner, McBee; two sons, Steve (Tina) Gardner, Bishopville and Chuck (Lisa) Gardner, McBee; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy (Lide) Johnson, Hartsville and two brothers, Joe (Welba Jean) Boykin, Cassatt and John Richard Boykin, Cassatt.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Billy Boykin and one sister, Paulette Hall.
Norton Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Gardner family.
