Alicia Paderez, age 47, passed away on November 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a caring daughter, beloved sister, dedicated aunt and a loving Godmother.
Her legacy is one of love, selflessness, and unwavering support. She will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the incredible way she made every family gathering feel special. Her kitchen was the heart of our home, a place filled with the essence of happiness, and sweet memories. As well as the sounds of laughter, love and sometimes a bit of frustration. We all loved our time spent with her.
A true artist at heart, Alicia brought joy, color, and sweetness into every life she touched. As an exceptionally talented cake decorator, she didn't just bake cakes; she created masterpieces that made every birthday, quinceañera, wedding, and all other events truly unforgettable. The care and love she poured into each unique creation reflected her beautiful spirit and desire to make people smile.
Beyond baking, she also loved cooking, crafting, DIYing, completing puzzles and watching movies and most importantly, spending time with the family. Her sarcasm was infectious and on point and her courageous spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her battle.
She is preceded in death by her mother Angelita and Sister JoAnn. Survived by her father Alexander, her sisters Michelle, Molly, Stella, Bianca, Sandra and her brother Manuel. And many nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. Her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts and in the many cherished memories we created together.
An overnight vigil to celebrate Alicia's sweet life will be held at the Paderez Residence of 9010 S Calle Batoua Guadalupe, AZ 85283 on Saturday November 15th beginning at 5pm. Sunrise mass will be held at 7am on Sunday November 16th. In her honor, guests are invited to wear purple, as it was her favorite color.
