Alicia K. Strosnider

Alicia Kay Strosnider, aged 33, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, in Bourbon, Missouri.
Born on November 12, 1991, in Sullivan, Missouri, Alicia grew up in Bourbon, where she was a familiar face to many, having attended local schools and earning her GED through the SOAR program. Alicia enjoyed playing basketball during her time at Bourbon High School.
Throughout her life, Alicia was blessed with three beautiful children: Caleb, Bryar and Ashlynn. Alicia worked various places in within the community including: Cracker Barrel, Town and Country Supermarket and most recently SLP and Ace Manufacturing.
In her leisure time, Alicia embraced creativity through drawing, painting, and photography. She cherished the moments spent playing basketball with her son Caleb and showed a great talent for making vibrant scrapbooks and photo albums that captured cherished family memories. She had recently begun attending services at House of Hope Ministries.
Alicia was known for her love of exercise, her penchant for Fun Dips, and her skill in the kitchen. Her children admired their mother for her beauty, intelligence, compassion, and the vivacious sense of humor that could light up a room. Alicia's presence was a gift to those who knew her, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all.
Alicia is survived by her three children; Caleb Kwok of Bourbon, MO, Bryar Laney of Leasburg, MO, and Ashlynn Strosnider of Leasburg, Missouri; her mother, Sandra Simpson of Bourbon, MO; her brother, Carl Strosnider, Jr. and wife Jaelynn of Louisiana; her two sisters, Amber Simpson of Bourbon, MO, Bianca Strosnider of Bourbon, Missouri; her grandmothers, Ruth Simpson of Bourbon, Missouri and Jeannette Strosnider of Bourbon, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Strosnider, Sr., and her grandfathers, Jimmy Strosnider and James Simpson. No services are planned at this time.
