Alicia Beth Tasker, 54, of
Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on September 20, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1971, in Racine, WI and adopted by Ronald and Deanna Pullins Reed at 4 months old. Alicia is survived by her parents, Ronald and Deanna Reed; her husband Michael Tasker; sons, CJ(Haley) Garner(Iowa), Kobe Tasker(Indianapolis), and Corey(Paul) Tasker (Colorado); and her daughters, Kristi Garner(Indianapolis), Kayla Tasker (Mississippi), and Cassidy (Richard) Russell (Mississippi). Her grandchildren, Kaiden Garner, Savannah Saleh, Aria Garner, Ashton Garner and Ruby Garner. Sister-in-law, Sonya Reed and nephews Nathan and Zane Reed, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Reed.
Alicia graduated from Southport High School in 1989 and received her BSc in Counseling from Phoenix University. She was the Office Manager at Southport High School, Indianapolis. Southport HS was her home away from home and a place she loved to be. She played in the Marching Band at Southport High School during her high school days. She bled Southport Red. In fact, when any of us wore Perry Blue, we heard about it
She was a member of the Southport Heights Christian Church, Indianapolis. She played catcher on various teams at Southport Little League. In her youth she participated in Bible Bowl at the church. She worked at Southport Heights Day Care Center at one time and enjoyed making cards with the card group once a month.
Alicia was all about FAMILY. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, and they adored her. The family was together over Labor Day to celebrate Ashton's, Ruby's, Kobe's, Kristi's, and Deanna's birthdays that were in September.
She enjoyed gourmet cooking and went all out with her extravagant Christmas Day dinner. She was ruthless at games. She showed no mercy, even to her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, especially seeing lighthouses. She saw plenty of lighthouses on her family trip to Maine in 2023 and ordered lobster at every chance she had. She got involved in the card game Magic with Kobe and Kaiden.
Despite her MS she still persevered at work and continued to provide for her family. If the school needed something, she determined it would happen. She was also determined to go on a cruise with her mother and aunt Debbie in November and travel to Maui Hawaii in March 2026 to celebrate with her parents on their 60th Wedding Anniversary.
Her ashes will be spread by her family at her favorite lighthouse in Racine, Wisconsin where she was born.
