Alisha Gladfelter Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Alisha M. Gladfelter, 40, of Baltimore, MD, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2025, in Snow Shoe Township.
Born on March 27, 1985, in York, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Daniel R. and Susan M. (Swancer) Strickler of York.
Alisha was a 2003 graduate of Central York High School. She worked as a bartender at several well-known establishments in the Baltimore area, including The Light House Tavern, The Pig and Rooster Bar and Grill, and the Cowboy Row Saloon, where she was known and loved by many.
Creative at heart and grounded in her Christian faith, Alisha expressed herself through her artwork. She was a gifted painter and found joy in drawing - her pieces reflected her vibrant spirit and unique perspective.
Alisha lived each day with passion and purpose. She had a magnetic energy that lit up every room and made every gathering feel like a celebration. She was known for her generosity, kindness, and ability to make anyone feel like a friend. Whether she knew you well or had just met you, if you needed something and she could help, she would.
She enjoyed spending time with friends, relaxing with a cool drink, and traveling with her family - especially to Key West, Florida, one of her favorite places.
Alisha is survived by her parents, Dan and Susie Strickler of York; her devoted companion of over 20 years, Justin E. Kiss of Baltimore; two sisters: Angela R. Yermakov and her husband, Ivan, of Mount Wolf, and Adrianna Pinco and her husband, Tony, of New York. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Charlene E. Strickler of York; her cherished nephews, Jayden and Julian; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronald Strickler, and her maternal grandparents, Margaret and Joseph Swancer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, with Father Michael Wolfe officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc., in Snow Shoe, PA. Online condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.daughenbaughfuneralhome.com.
