A 2002 graduate of Eastland High School, Alisha attended Judson College for her freshman year before continuing her education at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where she earned a degree in Agricultural Business and Criminal Justice. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Business with a minor in Human Resources from Ashford University. Dedicated to helping others, Alisha worked in the health care industry and spent the past ten years as an employee of UW Health.

Her passion for travel and sport took her to Australia and New Zealand through the People-to-People Student Ambassador Program. Running was one of her greatest joys; she completed 14 half marathons, including the Denver Relay Marathon, and traveled to Reykjavik, Iceland, where she proudly finished the Reykjavik Marathon.
She is survived by her parents, Stanley and Vicki Toepfer of Lanark, IL; her brother, Joshua (Laura) Toepfer of Waukesha, WI, and their children Jacob, Benjamin, and Aubrey; and her sister, Trisha (Brian) Berg of Evansville, IN, and their children Kaitlyn, Abigail, Brooklyn, and Brayden.
