Allen Barnett, age 69, of Cross Plains, TX, passed away on September 30, 2025. He was born August 30, 1956, in Midland, Texas, to R.L. Barnett and Billy (Rohus) Barnett.

Allen was a hardworking man who devoted his life to caring for his family. He will be remembered for so many things including his dedication, his love of riding motorcycles, his free spirit, and his passion for gold mining. He was well known for his unwavering support of the community and the many selfless acts he carried out to help others.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara Barnett; children, Danny, Jeremy, and Lindsey, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, R.L. and Billie Barnett; sister, Carolyn; and brother, Larry. A celebration of Allen's life will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Plains Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Cross Plains Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to friends, neighbors, and the community for their support, prayers, and kindness during this challenging time.
