Elizabeth Ann Smith was born in Santa Anna, Texas, on September 6th, 1939, to Robert Smith and Lorene Gray and passed away June 1, 2025, in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, A.J. (Jack) Arledge.
A graduate of Cross Plains High School, she retired from the University of Mississippi Medical School, Jackson, Mississippi, as director of Ophthalmic Photography. She was honored by the Ophthalmic Photographers Society to become a fellowship member in 2000.
She is survived by her brother Larry Smith, sister Nancy Stovall and husband Charles, niece Melanie Stovall and nephew Chandler Stovall and wife Rose, as well as many dear friends.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Kary, Amy and Kathy for going above and beyond in her care as well as the staff of The Blake of Township.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 6th at Cross Cut Cemetery, Cross Cut, Texas.
