Betty Jean Greenman, age 89, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025. Betty was born March 4th 1936, in Pioneer, Texas to Jess W. and Agnes N. Brown. Betty was Married to Robert W. Greenman in San Francisco 1965-1974, with which she had a son, Scott A. Greenman in 1966. Betty graduated Cross Plains High School in 1955, there she enjoyed playing Basketball under Half Court rules. After, she graduated from Shannon Hospital Nursing School program in San Angelo. Using her degree, she worked in Chicago and Southern California, settling in San Francisco. Working for some time with the US Public Health Service. Then retiring with Kaiser Permanente. Betty lived in Marin County California until moving to Fort Worth Texas in 1995. While there, she enjoyed her many trips to Costco with her sister. In 2017 Betty moved to the Brownwood area. Betty was a hard worker and had many fleeting hobbies throughout her life: making a table for her son, quilting, macrame, cooking, gardening and The Shopping channel. Along with loving her son, she had some very special cats and dogs in her life. Betty is Survived by her son, Scott Greenman: her sister Katheryn Brown as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Siblings: Earlene, Rudolph, Joe, Mary and nephew Jeff Brown. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery at a later date.

Sorry for your lost we always had good time with Ms Betty that we called her she was our dog sitting for our dog that kat found for us we named her cierra,now she is in heaven with Ms Betty god bless
