Allen Wayne Bohannon, age 39, of Hazlehurst passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Bohannon was born October 29, 1985 in Augusta, Georgia. He worked as an operator for Pallet One in Hazlehurst. He loved his family, and they were always first for him. He was an avid UGA fan and was a hard worker and loved to fish. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Roger Bohannon, Jr. and Andy Marshal Bohannon, cousin, Henry Morris and uncle, Andy Baisden.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Bohannon; daughter, Callie Bohannon (Ian McDaniel); sons, Tyler Hughes (Laney Tatum) and Jaydon Bohannon (Kira Buford); parents, Roger & Sherry Bohannon; three grandchildren, Dustin Conrad, Ryder Tatum and Landry Spence; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 from 6PM until 8PM at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Bohannon, Ike Bohannon, Evan Bohannon, Gavin Bohannon, John Crozier, and Kevin McDaniel.
The family will be gathering at the residence, 45 Libby Avenue Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
