Allen J. Gero

Allen J. Gero, age 77 of Parma, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee White) for 36 years; loving father of Allen, Jr., Michael, and Dawn; stepfather of Shawn Bowen; devoted grandfather of Alyssa, Sage, and Ivy; great-grandfather of Austin; dear brother of Robert (Marsha), Annmarie, and Bernie (Bill); uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ann Gero (nee Aron) and several siblings.

Allen was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a sports enthusiast, following all the Cleveland teams and playing softball and volleyball in his spare time.

A visitation will be held for Allen from 10am -12pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the BABITT-BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 9350 Ridge Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133. Committal service with Navy military honors to follow at 1:45pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273. Please meet at the staging area within the entrance.
