My Dear Al,
I feel so badly that I did not know of your passing until today. I had waited for you to call me and start back on our therapy sessions. I tried to reach you . . . in so many ways. I will miss talking with you about your books, your bindery projects, and our conversations about dinners with your friends. I will miss trying to find new restaurants for you to try, and your advise on where the best food could be found. I will miss your advise on gourmet cooking, but I will always use your method of cooking a Turkey for Thanksgiving. I will miss your cats, but most of all I will miss the rare moments that we could laugh over your philosophy of life. I am sorry I wasn't there to pay my last respects. May God take care of you.
Your friend . . . Doreen
