VERY SAD TO HEAR ABOUT ALAN. I MET ALAN IN 1979 WHILE I WORKED AT SAN MATEO HONDA, AND HE WORKED WITH THE REDWOOD CITY POLICE.
( 22 C 3 ). WE BECAME FRIENDS AND I DID RIDE ALONGS WITH HIM IN REDWOOD CITY, WHERE HE MENTORED ME IN THE LAW ENFORCEMENT INDUSTRY. I STARTED A SECURITY COMPANY IN 1985 AND STILL PATROL TIL THIS DAY IN FOSTER CITY CA. I HAVN'T TALKED TO ALAN IN 30 YEARS BUT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD THAT I WORKED MY WAY UP TO BE INCLUDED ON THE SECURITY TEAM OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. REST IN PEACE ALAN!!!
