Allen passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Close to Home Assisted Living in Bay City at the age of 82. He was born on August 4, 1942 to the late Elmer and Bernadine McPhee in Bay City, Michigan. He enjoyed watching sports and he loved El Camino’s.
Allen is survived by his sisters, Dorothy McPhee-Murphy and Carol McPhee; sister-in-law, Annie McPhee; special nephew, Mike McPhee; special niece, Angie Johnroe and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeanette Warren, Donald McPhee, Marilyn McPhee, Norine (Bob) Mertens, Jim (Maria) McPhee, baby Michael McPhee, baby Madeline McPhee, Jerry McPhee, Virginia (Ted) Johnroe and John McPhee and Niece-in-law, Betty McPhee.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff at Carriage House, Close to Home Assisted Living and McLaren Hospice.
Memorial service for Allen will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home with Military Honors taking place before the service. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera. The family will be present to receive visitors on Friday at the Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Wishes of the Family or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
