Allen "Butch" Nagle

Allen (Butch) Francis Nagle, 75, formerly of Springfield, PA passed away Sunday August 20, 2023 at Holland Senior Living in Holland, PA. He was born December 18, 1947 in Altoona, PA to the late Bernard P. and Loretta A. (Bowers) Nagle.
Butch attended high school at Altoona High School in Altoona, PA. He enlisted in the Army in October 1966 and served his country in Vietnam. After serving in the Army, he started his career in the airline industry and retired from US Air.
Butch was an avid hunter and loved to spend time at his mountain house in Columbia County. He also loved coaching baseball and watching his kids and grandkids in their athletic endeavors.
In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by sisters, Bernadine Anton, Florence Berrang, and Carol Joan Nowlen and brothers Norman Allen and Eugene Nagle.
Butch is survived by his wife Patricia Palumbo his sons, AJ Nagle (Angie) and Shawn Nagle(Karen) and his grandchildren (Emma, Maryanna, Ava, Joshua, Sammy, Owen and Finnegan). He is also survived by his sisters Elizabeth Holley, Theresa Nagle Carbone (Fred), Lorraine Shuma, Marilyn Franceschini, and Cheryl Nagle Forney. Butch was dearly loved by his stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation Friday, August 25th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home located at 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:00pm. Interment is private.
