Allen Ray Pemberton, 75, of Clearfield, Utah passed away on July 17, 2025 at Pioneer Monument in Brigham City, Utah. Born on July 10, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to Charles and Lois Pemberton. Ray graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1968. He joined the United States Marine Corps on December 30, 1968 and served in the Vietnam War. He went on Steven-Henager College and Weber State College. He had a successful career at Hill Air Force Base. He married the love of his life Sherry Hogan on August 2, 1974 in Fern Wood Park in Layton, Utah. They had two children. Ray was known for his kindness, steadfastness, and love of camping. He was deeply passionate about community service. He spent many years as a school bus driver and also worked at the Senior Center. His enthusiasm for life and dedication to helping others in need will leave a lasting impact on all that knew him! He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sherry Pemberton; his son Corey Ray, his son Casey Allen and wife Neljane, and five amazing grandchildren Brittney, Brijett, BreAnna, Bianca, and Haydin. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Johnson and brother Gary and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by brother Steve Pemberton. We will be spreading his ashes as per his wishes under a pine tree. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the "Wounded Warrior Project". Ray's warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him!
