Allen R. Remp, a loving husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by his adoring family on February 17, 2024. He was born on October 23, 1933, in Mohnton, PA.
Allen led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. His fondness for storytelling illuminated the room whenever he shared anecdotes of his travels and escapades with his beloved wife, Violet. Together, they created a tapestry of beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
During his 23 years of dedicated service in the Airforce as a Tech Sergeant, Allen displayed unwavering commitment and loyalty to his country. After an honorable discharge, he continued his service to the community by working at the Orlando Post Office for 18 years. His strong work ethic and genuine care for others left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In his leisure time, Allen found joy in simple pleasures like gatherings with family and friends. Whether engaging in lively card games or entertaining loved ones with his captivating stories, he radiated warmth and hospitality.
Allen is survived by his sons Michael (Linda) and David (Patty), who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. He is preceded in death by his wife Violet and son Richard. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Services to honor and remember Allen R. Remp will be held at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in Orlando, FL. A Memorial Gathering will take place on March 10th starting at 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at noon.
As we bid farewell to Allen in this physical realm, we find solace in knowing that he lives on through the memories he created and the lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
