Allen Ray Springer of Evansville, Indiana departed from this life on September 4th, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Dixie, of 27 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Bonilla and his parents, Ruby Ray and Maudie Jean Day-Springer. He leaves behind his son, Danny (Donna) Springer and grandkids Bradley, Matthew and Lauren Springer all in the United States Air Force. He leaves a daughter, Lana (Bill) Masterson and her two daughters, Christina and Katherine Carpenter. His brother Ron (Mary) Springer and their kids, Nicholas and Miranda. Granddaughter Macy (Jack) Baird. He leaves a sister, Bonita (Garland) Herrman and their kids. He also has many nieces and nephews. There are many relatives around Sturgis, Kentucky. He loves his grandkids with all his heart, fishing and singing karaoke. He supports the many activities and events his wife does through various unions as well as animal organizations. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years and a Senior Master Sargent and was so proud of his service to this country. He received 30 medals for all that he did.
Services and burial will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, September 9, 2025 at 10am, burial to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vanderburgh County Humane Society or Easter Seals. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Allen, please visit our floral store.
