Allen D. Stevenson, age 89, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 18, 2022, exactly two months after the passing of his wife.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 6, 1933, he was a son of the late Raymond and Mae Stevenson. Allen severed in the Navy Reserves and after his discharged became an Upholster by trade and worked Campbell's, Rutter's and retired from Bar & Associates Interior Designs. He enjoyed sharing his hobbies of fishing, hunting, and boating with his family and friends at his second home Leisure Point. One of his proudest moments in life was the completion of crafting his own boat from scratch the Criss-craft.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by the love of his life, Lillian; brothers, Raymond (Geraldine), Richard (Helen), and Paul; and brothers-in-law, Charles and Jean. He is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Perry, and Darlene Cole; sister-in-law, Joan Stevenson; his loving children, David Stevenson (Sumee), Dianne Marckese, Donna Justice (Bruce), and Denise DeMaio (Joseph); 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and his furry friend, Jazzy.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North Dupont Highway, New Castle, DE.
