Allen Joe Wallace, born October 14, 1937 in Bald Knob to Phillip Milton and Edna Wave Wallace. Joe was a farmer and truck driver for Wal-Mart. He loved to work on his old farm equipment and taught his boys how to farm, from "mechanicing" to driving trucks and farm equipment. He was truly a farmer at heart. Joe loved his family and they loved and respected him.
Joe was a long time member of the Worden Baptist Church and, over the years, put in a lot of time, love and service to the church and his beloved church family.
He is survived by Jeanette Wallace, his wife and soulmate for the past 65 years; 2 sons, Larry (Kim) Wallace of Blanchard, Oklahoma and David (Tracy) Wallace of Bald Knob; grandson, Adam (Danika) Wallace; granddaughters, Amber (James) Burns of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Montana Wallace of Bald Knob; great-grandchildren, Fisher and Drake Wallace and Colton, Brody and Ella Burns. Joe has many nieces and nephews who have been a large part of his life in a way that has been very rewarding. He leaves a great legacy for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Milton and Wave Wallace; brothers, Glennie, Roy, Ray, Johnnie, Dale and Jimmy Wallace; sisters, Lois McClain and June White.
He leaves great memories for all those who loved and shared their lives with him.
