He was born on October 20, 1966 in Plymouth, WI, a son to Sharon (Kvithyll) Zimmermann and the late Edward Zimmermann.
Al graduated from Plymouth High School in 1985. He worked at Rockline Industries for almost 40 years.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, going Up North to Crooked Lake, watching NASCAR on Sundays and camping out by the track. Al's passion was Go Kart Racing, a passion which he enjoyed sharing with his family.
Survivors include his two sons, Brad Zimmermann (special friend Amanda) and Brett Zimmermann; mother, Sharon Zimmermann; brothers, Steve (Shelly) Zimmermann, and Mark (Gina) Zimmermann; and many nieces, aunts, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and many aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM; with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 PM. Pastor Dale Miller will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in memory of Al.
