Alleyn Gettle

Alleyn Gettle, age 93, of Garnet Valley, PA, died on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Sunrise Westown. Alleyn was born on December 7, 1931 and was a graduate of West Chester High School. She was a devoted office manager at J. Ray Patterson for 34 years.
Alleyn was an active member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and shared her faith by teaching 3rd grade Sunday school. She was a former member of Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge in Arden, Delaware. Alleyn loved minstrel shows.
Her presence will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Wife of the late Warren "Barney" Gettle; Daughter of the late Leslie Ashworth and Caroline McKinley Ashworth. Sister of the late Joan Harvey.

God Children: Robin Woods, Pam Vilone, Kyle Kulp and Matthew Kulp.
Visitation: Friday, July 18th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.
Funeral Service: Friday, July 18th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
