Allyn J. Bertolina

Allyn J. Bertolina, 96, of Claridge, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. Allyn was born on March 29, 1929, in Hahntown, the son of the late Ernest and Etta (Eichler) Bertolina. Allyn was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Irwin. He retired from Irwin Sensenich Corporation. He was a very hard worker throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Bertolina; his second wife, Betty Bertolina; his daughter, Renee Jensen; and his siblings, Richard Bertolina, Dolores Cobert, and Judy Bertolina. Allyn is survived by his wife, Anna (Diana) Bertolina; his children, Deborah (Victor) McGavern of Monroeville, Allyn J. Jr. (Michele) Bertolina, of Franklin, PA; son-in-law, Ross Jensen of Ft. Myers, FL; his and Lillian's four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; his stepchildren (Anna's children) Jody (Charles) Englert the late Charles (surviving Becky) Meigs, and the late Richard and Bobby Meigs; her 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; his second wife's children, Susan (William) Opaska, Cynthia (Alan) Painter, Kathleen (Gary) Wagner and Robert Dice; her 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; and nieces. The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice for the compassionate care of Allyn. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, 724-863-8900. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Hyung-Suk Joe officiating. Interment will follow in the Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, in North Huntingdon.
