Allyson Ann Houser, born 09/14/1979, peacefully departed this world on 02/05/2026 after spending 16,945 days spreading love, joy, light and laughter throughout this world.
She leaves behind many broken hearts.
Allyson is the cherished "only daughter" of James P. Houser and the late Judith L. Houser (nee DaPisa).
She will be greatly missed by her protective brothers, Jimmy and Tommy, her doting sisters-in-law, better known as her BFF's, Mary and Ann Marie, her favorite nieces and nephews, Courtney, Tommy, Ashley, Jack, Danny and Mikey, her aunts & uncles, Captain Mary Houser, Lou & Arlene Houser, Bob & Terry DaPisa, Barbara & Peter Thomases, cousins galore, her lifetime boyfriend, Billy Anderson, more friends than stars in the sky and of course, her four-legged furry protector, Enzo.
Allyson left us and immediately entered the loving embrace of her mom, Judy, and grandparents, Louis and Helen Houser and Lincoln and Viola DaPisa.
Allyson was many things during her short 46 years- a dancing queen, karaoke stud, baby whisperer and Fan Club enthusiast. She was a decorated Olympian, boasting countless gold medals, a retired Jewel grocery bagger with 20 years of service and customers who still look for her radiant smile, an aspiring politician- dishing out hugs and handshakes to strangers everywhere she went and a gorgeous model- oh, how she rocked that runway of the Gold Medal Fashion show for over 30 years. Yet, I think we all agree her most distinguished role was that of thief, as she stole the hearts of everyone she met.
Allyson mastered the meaning of life- she never doubted her own value, she loved her family and friends fiercely, enjoyed simple pleasures and lived in the moment (well, except in the months leading up to her birthday!) She knew her purpose in this world was to spread light and joy to others and she so perfectly succeeded!
Consider yourself blessed if you were ever the recipient of one of her famous speeches, personalized donuts or healing hugs.
Honor Allyson's memory by following her example- accept differences, be helpful, be kind, hug everyone, sing loudly even when you don't know the words.
But mostly, love. Love everyone, love always and like Allyson, leave this world a better place.
