Allyson Xina Gains Ross, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on December 1, 1961, Allyson was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Gains, who preceded her in death, and Doris Peggy Warren, along with her devoted stepfather, Arthur Warren.
Allyson grew up in Long County, Georgia, where she graduated from Long County High School in 1979. A gifted athlete, she shined on the basketball court, earning recognition that would carry her into college athletics. She continued her education and basketball career at Brewton-Parker College (1979–1981) and Augusta State University (1981–1983), later achieving her degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2001. Her professional life was marked by dedication and service. Allyson built a long and successful career with the Social Security Administration, where she grew, thrived, and touched countless lives through her work until her passing.

Allyson's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving sons, Arthur Xeres Ross and Aaron Emil Ross; her adored grandson, Jordan Arthur Ross; her brother Arthur Warren and (Victoria),

Shakia Middleton God Daughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Allyson loved deeply and lived fully. Though she is gone, her legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion will live on through her children, grandson, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be missed beyond measure but never forgotten.
