Alma Glass Ogle

Alma Jean Glass Akins Ogle crossed over to be with the Lord and her family that has gone on before her on March 1, 2026. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Alma was the daughter of the late William Earl and Johnnie Kate Kelley Glass. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas Eugene Glass and Jackson William "J.W." Glass, and husband, Harold "Buster" Akins.

She leaves behind to mourn her loss, her faithful husband, Leonard "Butch" Ogle; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Rhonda Glass; daughter, Denise "Mickie" Akins Purdy; son, Derrick Ogle; granddaughter: Stefanie Robinson (Josh) and April Swearingen (Shane); grandson, Dustin Purdy; extended family, daughters, Cheryl James (Billy) and Ann Banton; grandsons, BJ and Kenny Ray James; granddaughter, Savannah Banton; great-grandchildren: Jensen and Chase Swearingen, Rory and Reagan Sawyer, Mira and Maverly Robinson, Hayleigh, Kyleigh, and Ryder Purdy, Addison and Kennedy Purdy, Sadie and Berkley James, Ryder James; sister, Diane Glass Williams, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Gene Higgins officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. on Thursday and we will proceed to Pleasant Hill Cemetery for graveside services at 1 p.m.
