Alphonse Anthony Kronberg

Alphonse Anthony Kronberg, of New Haven died February 1st, 2026 at Apple Rehab Laurel Woods in East Haven. Born in New Haven on August 28, 1954, Alphonse was the beloved son of the late James H. and Genevieve Kronberg (Inclima). Besides his mother and father, he is survived by his brother James Kronberg of Branford, and Godfather Dr. Alphonse Inclima (Judith) of Orange. Al is predeceased by his special friend Nina Sanseverino and leaves his dear friends George Avelo and Paul Mastriano.

Al graduated from Wilbur Cross High School Class of 1972 and attended Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). Al was a devoted Catholic and served his parish in several ways, as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, president of the Parish Council, and organizer of Church Hall movie nights. He was a talented graphic artist, and a lover of music and good food. Al had true faith in God, especially during his last 5 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 10:00AM in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 129 Edwards St. in New Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the church from 9:15AM until time of Mass. The Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. is in care of his arrangements.
