Alphonse Sapiente Jr.

Alphonse "Sach" Sapiente Jr., 86 entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 14th, 2025. Sach lived a long and meaningful life defined by devotion to family, honest work, faith, and quiet strength. He was a man who valued the simple importance of showing up for the people and community he loved.

For many years, Sach worked as an upholsterer for the Sealy Furniture Company. He took great pride in his craft and was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. His work reflected the way he lived-careful, steady, and built to last.

Sach was a devoted parishioner and longtime volunteer at St. Bernadette's Church. His faith was central to his life, and he gave his time generously in service to others.

In his free time, Sach appreciated life's simple pleasures. He found joy in riding his Harley-Davidson, taking long walks, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.

He was a loving father to his son, Alphonse, and his daughter, Jodi. He guided them by example, teaching integrity, patience, and perseverance through his actions rather than words.

Sach was preceded in death by his beloved wife Raffaela "Rae", Bosco, his mother, Philomena Esposito Sapiente ; and his father, Alphonse Sapiente Sr. He leaves behind his son, Alphonse Sapiente his daughter, Jodi Sapiente Paolella; his brother, Cosmo Sapiente ; and his sisters, Frances Brancato and Joan Cretella. Family was the foundation of his life, and he cherished the bonds of shared history, love, and connection that defined it.

Those who knew Sach will remember his steady presence, quiet wisdom, and generous heart. His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the faith he practiced, the community he served, and the lasting impact of a life well lived.

Services will be held at Maresca Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
