Alton Marshalleck ObituaryAlton Marshalleck MA MBA went to rest on Thursday, July 17, 2025 seven days after his beloved wife's passing. He was born in Johnson Town Kingston and attended West Indies College, Atlantic Union College and Andrews University where he received his MBA in Business. The highlights of his long career of service with the Seventh Day Adventist Church included serving a Treasurer in Bahamas, then with the West Indies Union followed by many years as Hospital Manager at Andrew Memorial Hospital.
He served as Development Director for NCU before ending his career as a business teacher with the Orlando School District. He served as Elder at many churches across Inter America and Florida. The highlight of his career was going back to Johnson Town to lead a crusade in which 12 persons were baptized. He and Jean have two children Sheryl and Hans, daughter-in-law Stacy (Jolly) and grand daughter Zoe.
He touched many lives with his love for life, sports (especially table tennis), children and good humor. He even took up learning the Saxophone in retirement. Jean and Goody were married for 61 years opened their home to many throughout the years. We are so grateful for his life and legacy.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 11a.m. at Brooklawn SDA Church, 250 Brooklawn Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Family and friends may view at the church at 10a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held on. Monday, August 4, 2025 in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
