She was a trained musician and served for many years as a music teacher, choir director and church organist. She and Alton have two children Sheryl and Hans, daughter-in-law Stacy (Jolly) and grand daughter Zoe.
She touched many lives with her wise counsel, gentle humor and untiring service. Jean and Goody were married for 61 years opened their home to many throughout the years. We are so grateful for her life and legacy.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 11a.m. at Brooklawn SDA Church, 250 Brooklawn Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Family and friends may view at the church at 10a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held on. Monday, August 4, 2025 in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.

Dr. Jean Marshalleck C.D. (nee. Mullings) went to rest on Thursday, July 10, 2025 after 95 wonderful years. She was born in Darliston Jamaica, attended UWI and Andrews University where she received her PhD in Educational Statistics. She spent her professional career with the Government of Jamaica culminating in being appointed the first female P

I wish to express my deep grief over the passing of Bro and Sister Marshalleck. Dr Edith Marshalleck ( Miss Mullins, Jean) was my favorite teacher of all times who taught me to love Spanish.
Miss Mullins was also my highly valued teaching colleague, advisor, friend and sister in Christ.
I will always admire and respect her for her professionalism, and especially for her warm caring personality for her humility and unpretentiousness.
I hope that God will grant me the privilege and pleasure of meeting our Miss Mullins again in the Earth made new.
