Alton Workman Obituary
He was born January 11, 1959 in Logan, WV the son of the late Alton & Juanita Workman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Workman and grandmother Ida Lilly.
Jennings had 20 years of service with the DOH. He enjoyed hunting, watching and coaching sport and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Doug Workman and Greg Workman (Chassidy Marine); sisters, Wanda Mills (John) and Arnietta Workman (Eddie); grandchildren, Makayla Workman, Morgan Workman, Aiden Workman and Corrine Workman; and his niece and nephews, Denise Thacker, Rick Mills and Donald Mills.
Services will be held at 12:00pm, Monday, May 12, 2025 at Highland Memory Gardens with Michael Browning and Jimmy Carter officiating.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Greg Workman, Doug Workman, Rick Mills and other family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
