A mass celebrating Alvin's life will be held on November 9 at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Kilmarnock at 12:00 PM.
Alvin worked for the Department of Defense.
He served in the Navy.
In order to honor Alvin's memory, donations can be made to Hospice of Tappahannock or St. Francis de Sales Church, Kilmarnock.
