Alyce Morris

Alyce Morris, age 79 of Wallingford, passed away on October 6, 2024 at the Regency House in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late George Morris. Alyce was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Robert and Marcia Curtis Paecht.
She is survived by her children, Michael Mazzacane and his wife Christina of West Haven, Joanne DeNicola and her husband Jeff of Durham, Jeannine Morris of Florida and Diane Morris of Wisconsin, her grandchildren, Christopher Mazzacane, Katerina Mazzacane, John Kumitis, Nikki Luft, Dani McCarthy, Devan DeNicola, Danny Graziano, Ryan Marcoux and Stephanie Maloney. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Desrosiers and her husband Ed of Southington and Donna Paecht of Michigan. In addition to her her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Beverly DeChello and her brother Robert Paecht.
Alyce had a true calling as a medical professional. Whether it was directly in patient care or teaching as a medical course instructor, she loved being a nurse.
Alyce's family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2pm until 4pm. Interment will be private.
