Alyson Laskas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nolan-Fidale Funeral Homes on Aug. 31, 2022.

On Saturday, August 27th, Alyson Laskas laid her head on her best friend's chest and died quietly in her sleep. Brilliant, beautiful, and ever bemusing, her life was one of yawps heartily hallooed; of hearts healed and broken. Hers was a life of the earth and of art, of angst and absolution, but always of love.
In the hills of Pennsylvania she finally found her idyll; a match for a soul larger than this world could contain. For those she left behind, she remains as she ever was: always with us, but never quite of us.
Family and friends are invited the Funeral Mass on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
BURIAL will be in the adjoining St. Thomas the Apostle Church Cemetery.
The Laskas family will greet the public after the burial service at the cemetery.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of our dear friend Alyson's passing. Alyson was the chief architect of the elaborate stage celebrations 2015 through 2017. The giant turkeys, the flower costumes, the 35th Anniversary, Xmas extravaganzas....etc.
May God keep your TWELVE MILLION WATTS!
Thank you Alyson. Rest in Peace.

We are saddened to learn this. Flowers were just a little more vibrant; the sun a little brighter when Alyson was in her element. Sincere sympathy to the Laskas family and Alyson's friends.

Alyson you were a light in this world. Though it had been a long time since I last saw you, I have never forgotten you or stopped loving your beautiful huge heart. You were full of life and laughter and I'm so glad to have known you. To the Laskas family - I don't know if you remember me - I went to Tyler with Alyson and visiting your home in Media was one of the highlights of those years - I remember holding Dalai (the llama) when she was sick, and tromping around in the woods behind your house. Alyson and I had been in touch recently and were making plans to meet again. You all have my deepest condolences. Thank you for sharing your beautiful soul with the world my old friend. We were all lucky to have a piece of your light shine on us. With you in spirit for the memorial. Lots of love to all of you.

So very sorry for your loss. I had this photo of Alyson in Rome when Bernie came to visit. She was one of a kind and deeply missed.
