Alyson Rina Latraverse, 32, of Greene, RI, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2023 at the Kent County Hospital, Warwick.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Andre and Diane (Desplechin) Latraverse. She was a life-long resident of Greene, RI. She loved music, hiking, traveling, and was most recently an avid weight lifter and exercise enthusiast. She loved doing anything and everything with her daughter, Charlotte, and was a devoted mother. Thanks to generous help of loved ones, she able to visit Alaska with her long time partner, Kenny.
Alyson was a 2008 graduate of the Coventry High School.
She was employed as a CNA at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She previously worked for Riverview Nursing Home and Westview Nursing Home, where she was well known for truly caring about the residents.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her beloved daughter Charlotte DeMonti; her grandmother, Theresa Desplechin of Massachusetts; her sister Rebecca Latraverse and her husband Ryan Reilly of Colorado; her nephew, Reese Reilly of Colorado; her boyfriend, Kenneth Glynn; her step-daughters, Sagelle Northup and Cassidy Glynn; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Alyson's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 PM and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Angiosarcoma Awareness, Inc in Alyson's name.
