The early and tragic loss of Alyson is deeply sad. A very sweet soul has passed on. While it had been many years since our close days in high school and when we reconnected several years ago under unfortunate circumstances (my learning that her mother, father and only sister had passed within 4 months of one another), Alyson remained as kind as ever. She was always a huge animal and nature lover which bonded us as young teens. She loved all creatures great and small. Being near the ocean brought her the greatest joy and I have many fond memories of us laughing, dancing and being happy together at the Jersey Shore back in the 80s. I am glad we have these memories. The losses in life are much to bear and Alyson did her best after such tremendous loss in a short time. She held onto the love and memory of her mother, father and sister and ensured they were not forgotten. You will not be forgotten either, Alyson. You will remain forever in my heart and soul as our younger joyful selves. May you be at peace, sweet & kind friend. I know your heaven is filled with the beauty and magic of dolphins, whales and sparkly starfish. For all who read this, please help protect the oceans and all the creatures that call it home. I know Alyson would appreciate that.
