Alyssa Brea Wooten Mattix, 21, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St. Benards Medical Center. She was born May 26, 2000 in Jonesboro to Bobby Wooten and Heather Eubanks. Alyssa was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a 2019 graduate of Westside High School where she was active in band. Alyssa was attending Arkansas State University. She worked for Credit Bureau of Jonesboro and Alyssa loved the people she worked with. Alyssa enjoyed music, animals, plants and thrifting. She was a fantastic artist and loved taking care of people. Most of all Alyssa loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carole Eubanks and her beloved animal, Ludo.
Alyssa is survived by her husband, Hunter Mattix; parents, Jacob and Heather Eubanks; brother, Eli Eubanks; sisters, Hailey Wooten, Gabi Sanchez; maternal grandparents, Lisa Deckelman, Larry and Martha Mills, Carmelita Jackson; paternal grandparents, Glenn Eubanks, Sandy Wooten; mother and father in law, Jeremy and Christi Mattix; brother in law, Jase Mattix; aunts and uncles, Rod and Julie Plunkett, Renee Eubanks, Jason Wooten; grandparents by marriage, Clifford and Dorothy Perdue and Kathy Perdue and numerous other family and friends.
Celebration of Alyssa's life will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Neal officiating. Burial will be private.
For lasting memorials the family asks that consideration be given to the NEA Humane Society, 6111 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
