Amanda M. "Mandie" Adams, 44, Sweetser, passed away at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, October 20, 1980, to Dennis and Vickie (Wise) Wohlheter.
Amanda was united in marriage to Nick Adams and together they built a loving home. She devoted herself to her family as a homemaker. Above all, Mandie cherished time spent with her family, especially her children, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Adams of Sweetser; her son, Nathaniel Brian Adams; her daughter, Victoria Irene Wednesday Adams; her grandmother, Katherine L. (late Ted) Wohlheter of Marion; and many dear friends, including her best friends, Dawn Evans and Kristi (Jason) Henderson. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished memories with all who knew her.
Mandie was preceded in death by her father, Dennis E. Wohlheter; her mother, Vickie Ellen Wohlheter; her step-father, Johnnie Browning; her brother, Aaron J. Browning; her grandparents, Gerald and Mary Ellen Wise; and her beloved dog, Mia.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Mandie's life will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Nowell Hardin officiating.
