Earnestine Adams was born on January 30, 1940 to the late Essie Mae Anderson and Allen Anderson in Maplesville, Alabama. There is where she attended school and worked on the farm. She later moved to North Carolina, but lived most of her life in Florida. In Florida, she worked for the Big Red Tomato Packing House for many years.

Earnestine was a faithful member of Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years and was always willing to help anyone in need.

It was on September 30, 2025 that the book of life was closed for Earnestine Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Essie Mae Anderson and Allen Anderson; sisters, Christine Works and Rosetta Wilson.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her one and only son: Paul (Iris) Anderson; brothers: Allen (Marie) Anderson of North Carolina and Booker T. (Judy) Anderson of Georgia; sisters: Mary Barnes of Florida, Betty Anderson of New Jersey, Susie Mae Rembert and Queenester Simon of Alabama, Azzie L. Brown of Georgia; and a host of other family members and sorrowing friends that will miss her dearly.
