We are heartbroken to share that our beloved sister, daughter, and friend, Amanda Alison Archuleta, passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 36.
Amanda had a deep passion for making people feel beautiful—inside and out. She pursued a degree in Cosmetology and Barbering from Northern New Mexico College and her talent and dedication to her craft were undeniable. She thrived in her career because of the love she poured into every client she met. But Amanda's gift for making others feel good wasn’t just through her work; it was in her smile, her laugh, and her ability to connect with everyone around her.
Outside of work, Amanda had a vibrant spirit. She loved listening to music, dancing, and being surrounded by nature, especially near the water. Her presence brought warmth, and she was always someone who lifted others up, whether through a kind word or a simple gesture of care.
Her passing has left a deep void in the lives of her family.
Amanda was predeceased by grandparents Rosina and Juan Archuleta.
She is survived by her grandparents Lucy and Andres Martinez; her parents Anna Martinez and Eli Archuleta; sisters Lisa Archuleta and Angelica Archuleta-Romero; brothers Ambrosio Archuleta and JuanAndres Archuleta; sisters-in-law Jessica Flores and Alysha Vigil; brothers-in law Walter Rodriguez and Isaac Archuleta-Romero and she is survived by several loving nephews, a niece and many cousins and friends.
Rosary services will be held at DeVargas Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Santa Cruz Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11:00 am.
