Amanda Jean Bray, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Pooler, Georgia. Born on October 1, 1979, in the serene town of Chewelah, Washington, Amanda's life was marked by her love for family, passion for her work, and vibrant interests.
Pooler, Georgia became Amanda's cherished home, where she built a life filled with love and laughter with her adored husband, Josh Bray, and their two wonderful children, Taika and Bowen. Her family was her pride and joy, and she embraced every moment spent in their company.
Professionally, Amanda was a dedicated Mission Support Specialist at Customs and Border Protection. Her expertise and commitment were evident in every task she undertook, making a significant impact in her field.
Amanda's love for art, her green thumb for gardening, and her culinary talents made every gathering a delightful experience. Her creativity extended to video games, where she found joy and relaxation. Her home was her sanctuary, beautifully tended and always welcoming.
Education was a cornerstone of Amanda's achievements. She earned certification as a personal trainer, a testament to her dedication and drive. Her work and interests were a reflection of her multifaceted talents and zest for life.
Amanda leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory forever. She is survived by her loving husband, Josh Bray; her cherished children, Taika and Bowen Bray; her devoted parents, Aaron and Denise Dennis; her caring siblings, Derrick Dennis and Jolene Wetterau, all of whom will keep her spirit alive in their hearts.
Amanda Jean Bray's warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Her family, friends, and all who knew Amanda are invited to honor her memory and share in the legacy she leaves behind on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
