Amanda Ann Conway Seale, born in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Lucile Conway; her beloved husband, Thomas Carl Seale; and her cherished granddaughter, Mackensie Taylor Seale.

Amanda is lovingly remembered by her three sons: John Seale and wife Patricia, Joseph Seale and wife Julie, James Seale and wife Kristin; her brother, Reverend Robert Conway and wife Jolene. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Madissen (Rhett) Harris, Landon (Emerson) Seale, Joseph Thomas (Ariel) Seale, Joanna Seale, Corin Seale, Morgan Springfield, Madison Springfield, and Alex Springfield; and great grandchildren: Lorraine and Graham Harris; all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and faith.

Throughout her near nine decades of life, Amanda embodied quiet strength, steadfast in her leadership at home, in her career, and in her church. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Alvarado, where she helped lay the foundation of her family’s spiritual faith and served as a guiding light in the congregation.

Professionally, Amanda built a distinguished career in the insurance industry beginning in 1954. Her drive and integrity led her to eventually own and operate the John Miller Agency in Cleburne, Texas. She never sought recognition, but her tireless work enriched her community and inspired those around her.

On June 24, 1960, Amanda married her lifelong partner, Thomas Carl Seale, at First United Methodist Church of Alvarado. Together, they built a home filled with devotion, resilience, and grace.

Following retirement, Amanda continued to cultivate connection and joy within her community at Chisholm Trail in Keene, where she organized game nights, sewing circles, and exercise classes. She loved to spend her time crocheting and creating afghans for family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Her spirit of community and service never dimmed.

Amanda’s legacy is one of steadfast grace and a lifetime spent in faithful service to others. Her impact lives on in every prayer shared, every lesson taught, and every hand she held. We are deeply grateful for the time we had with her and will miss her dearly.
